MatFor is a French company located in Pau which specializes in drilling equipment Since 1986, it has supplied equipment and special drilling tools for oil, water, gas, mining and special foundations.

Drill pipes carry the drilling tool attached to them, and drill collars add weight to the drilling tool to keep the drill pipes under compression and act as plumb line to drill as straight as possible due to their rigidity.
